Who we are
FitNumbra (fitnumbra.com) provides free fitness and nutrition calculators and educational articles. You can contact us about this policy at contact@muhammadbaqir.com.
Information you enter into calculators
Details such as your height, weight, age, sex, body measurements and date of birth are used only to perform the calculation in your browser. They are not transmitted to FitNumbra, and they are cleared when you reset the calculator or leave the page.
If you use the Share or Copy buttons on a result, the result text is passed to your device’s share menu or clipboard. Where it goes from there is under your control.
Information stored on your device
We use your browser’s local storage to remember one preference: whether you prefer metric or imperial units. This stays on your device, is not sent to us and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested — such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and working reliably, and are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Analytics
FitNumbra does not currently use any analytics service. If we add one in the future, such as Google Analytics, we will update this policy before it is enabled and describe what it collects. We will never send the values you type into calculators to an analytics provider.
Advertising
FitNumbra does not currently display advertising. If we introduce ads in the future, we will update this policy first and explain how advertising cookies are used and how you can control them.
When you email us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation. Please do not send sensitive health information by email.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect calculator data, the only personal information we usually hold is correspondence you have sent us. To make a request, email contact@muhammadbaqir.com.
Children
FitNumbra is intended for adults. Our calculators are not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other websites
Our articles sometimes link to external sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.
